Campsites
Our campsites offer unique and immersive outdoor experiences in some of Kenya’s most stunning natural landscapes. Whether you seek adventure, wildlife encounters, or peaceful escapes, our carefully selected campsites provide the perfect setting.
What to Expect In Our Campsites
Embrace the True Wilderness Experience
Our campsites are set in the most pristine locations within the conservancies—on elevated grounds with amazing views, beneath towering trees, or along a sand river. In the bush, you are the visitor, and wildlife may be closer than you expect. You will need to confirm the available amenities at the campsite with the conservancy managers. Arrive during daylight to set up camp and familiarize yourself with the surroundings. You’ll be completely alone in the wilderness, so come prepared with everything you need. Network signal isn’t guaranteed, so self-sufficiency is key for a safe and unforgettable adventure. As night falls, the sounds of the wild will soothe or scare you, from distant hunts to the echoes of hyenas laughing. Here, solitude is part of the experience, but for your safety make sure you confirm with conservancy managers to assign you armed rangers.

Seamless Travel for an Unforgettable Experience
For international visitors and new travelers, navigating northern Kenya’s vast landscapes may seem daunting. The Big North is here to make it easy. We recommend a 4×4 for a smooth journey to our campsites, and for added convenience, we offer a tourist vehicle for hire with a professional guide driver. Our goal is to ensure you enjoy a hassle-free adventure, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty and thrilling experiences of the wild.
Immerse Yourself in Culture and Tradition
All our campsites are located within our community conservancies where you can easily access cultural manyattas or vibrant weekly markets visits where you can purchase unique handcrafted wares. Make a visit to one manyatta and challenge yourself to learn something new—immerse in storytelling, discover traditional ways of life, or even master survival skills from the indigenous people. It’s a meaningful way to connect with Kenya’s rich cultural heritage while embracing the beauty of the wilderness.
