Short, two night trips can include either 2 nights at any of the 3 Bandas; Koija Starbeds, Olgaboli Bandas or Melako Bandas. Or you could do 1 night at Koija Starbeds and 1 night at Olgaboli.
Don’t forget to bring all your food and drink!
Day 1 – Take the 2 hour drive from Nanyuki to either Koija Starbeds or Olgaboli Bandas, or 3hour drive to Melako bandas. You will easily arrive in time to settle in, meet with the team and have a leisurely lunch. The afternoon is for you to choose – you could simply sit and relax or have the staff arrange one of the activities in the area. Try a camel trek or a game drive. Return to the Banda for sundowner, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Up early with a cup of coffee or tea and then game drive in search of the Big North’s Northern Five before a return to the Banda for breakfast. Again, it is up to you to set your daily schedule, the choice is yours. Perhaps try a fascinating cultural immersion by visiting the cultural manyatta village or the crater lake in Laisamis. Lunch and dinner will be at the Banda.
Day 3 – Breakfast at the time of your choosing and then head off back to civilisation feeling refreshed after your wilderness break.
