What makes Ol Lentille particularly distinctive is its community-owned conservation model. The 40,000-acre conservancy is jointly owned by Maasai and Samburu communities, with tourism directly supporting conservation, employment, training and community development. Guests can experience wildlife through guided walks and game drives while also engaging with Maasai and Samburu culture through authentic community experiences. The lodge operates with a strong sustainability focus, including solar power and rainwater harvesting.

Directions

Ol Lentille is located in Ol Lentille Conservancy, Laikipia County, in northern Kenya.

From Nairobi by road: Approximately 5–6 hours by road.
From Nanyuki: Drive north towards the conservancy; Ol Lentille is accessed through the remote Laikipia wilderness. The lodge's postal address is Nanyuki, although the property itself is in the conservancy.
By air: The main access is through Loisaba Airstrip, followed by approximately a 90-minute road transfer to the lodge.
Private charter: Ol Lentille has its own private airstrip, approximately 15 minutes from the lodge. Helicopter arrivals are also possible.
